New-Generation Honda Amaze to Launch on December 4
Honda Cars India will launch the third-generation Amaze on December 4, 2024, with unofficial bookings already open. The updated sedan has started arriving at dealerships across the country ahead of its debut. It will compete with rivals like the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
Key Highlights of the 2025 Honda Amaze
The 2025 Amaze will be available in three variants: V, VX, and ZX, offering several updates both inside and out compared to the current model. Since its launch over a decade ago, the Amaze has been a popular choice among Indian sedan buyers. The latest version brings new features and technologies while retaining its familiar design.
Top Features of the ZX Variant:
- Floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- ADAS technology for enhanced safety.
- Six airbags (standard across all variants).
- Automatic climate control.
- Wireless smartphone charger.
- Reverse camera.
- Multi-functional steering wheel with controls.
- Rear AC vents, dual cup holders, and Type-C charging ports.
However, some features like an electric sunroof, powered seats, and a 360-degree camera will be missing.
Engine and Performance
The new Amaze will retain its current 1.2L four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine, delivering 90 PS of power, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT. No major mechanical updates are expected.
Updated Design
The 2025 Amaze features a refreshed design inspired by the Honda Elevate and City. Key exterior updates include:
- Sharp LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs.
- A redesigned chrome-accented grille and bonnet.
- Updated front bumper and fog lamp housings for better road presence.
The interior also gets a revised dashboard layout and center console. With these updates, a slight price increase is expected compared to the outgoing model.
