State Bank of India (SBI) Recruitment 2024: Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) Posts
SBI has announced a special recruitment drive for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. This drive is open for applicants in the Ladakh Union Territory (UT), covering Leh and Kargil Valley, as well as other regions across the country.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. Those with an integrated dual degree (IDD) must complete it by December 31, 2024. Final-year students can also apply but must provide proof of passing by the specified date. - Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of April 1, 2024, meaning they should have been born between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is available for reserved categories (SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per norms).
Selection Procedure:
The recruitment process will involve three stages:
- Preliminary Examination:
An online test of one-hour duration covering English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance. - Main Examination:
This exam will test General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude. The final merit list will be based on the main exam scores. - Language Proficiency Test:
Candidates must clear a test in their chosen local language (Urdu, Ladakhi, or Bhoti). Those with valid 10th or 12th-grade certificates proving they studied the language need not take this test.
